What’s the easiest way to share a proof report or pickup package?

Narrafix makes it simple to share corrections, proofing results, or pickup requests - without exporting files or sending large documents. Everything can be shared directly through secret links, so your collaborators do not need an account or login. The easiest and most efficient way is to use the Share Project feature.

🌐 How to share from the Project View

  1. Go to your projects page or open the project in Narrafix Studio
  2. Click the Share Project button (top right in Studio or below list in project view"
  3. Choose the link type "Pickup" to give Read-Only access to your proofing list.

This is the fastest and easiest way to deliver a pickup report or correction list. The Pickups link shows an interactive pickup sheet where:

  • All flagged lines are listed in order
  • Each entry includes the audio snippet, script line, and timecode
  • Everything is clickable and synced
  • Narrowing down pickups becomes extremely easy

You simply send the link - the narrator or client sees everything in one place, instantly.

🎙️ Most efficient way to work with the Pickup View

For the fastest and most seamless pickup workflow, we recommend working with the Pickup View alongside your DAW:

  1. Open the Pickup View in one window and your DAW in another
  2. Keep your DAW armed for recording
  3. Click on any timecode in the pickup list — Narrafix will automatically jump slightly before the pickup, so you hear a bit of context
  4. Record the pickup directly in your DAW
  5. Move to the next entry by simply clicking the next timecode

This allows you to go through pickups continuously without stopping your recording flow — just click, listen, record, and move on.

Additionally, the original script PDF is displayed below the pickup list, so you always have full context of the passage while recording.

📄 Can I download the pickup list as a PDF?

Certainly! If you wish, simply click the Download Report button in the pickup view. The Proofing Report view will open, allowing you to conveniently print it as a PDF. However, we recommend utilizing the pickup share link, as it offers a more interactive and intuitive experience than static documents.
