What is Narrafix Studio?

Narrafix consists of three main modules that work together to automate and simplify audiobook post-production:

• Auto-Cut – automatically removes misreads, repeats, pickups, and off-script speech.
• Auto-Proofing – compares the recorded audio with the script and flags deviations for correction.
• Narrafix Studio – the browser-based environment where everything comes together.

What you can do in Narrafix Studio

Narrafix Studio is where you review, fine-tune, and finalize the results from Auto-Cut and Proofing in a single, intuitive workspace.

It’s designed to make proof editing faster and more accessible - even for those without engineering experience.

In Narrafix Studio, you can:

• Listen through edited audio and check flagged passages
• Fine-edit directly in the waveform view (adjust pauses, fades, and small sections)
• Confirm or correct script deviations identified by Auto-Proofing (if activated on checkout)
• Add proofing markers (reading errors, pronunciation, etc...) manually
• Add comments or notes for collaborators
• Export or share your results instantly through secure project links

All editing is non-destructive, so you can always revert or make changes without risk to the original material.

What Narrafix Studio is not

Narrafix Studio is not a full Digital Audio Workstation (DAW).

It’s built specifically for proof editing and quality control, not for recording, mixing, or mastering.

You can’t:

• Record new audio
• Use multi-track or plugin workflows
• Perform advanced mastering or mixing

Instead, Studio focuses on the core tasks that matter most after automated editing - reviewing, adjusting, and preparing content for final delivery.

How to open Narrafix Studio

After your job has been processed by Narrafix:

1. Go to your project dashboard.
2. Select the processed project you’d like to review.
3. Click "Open Narrafix Studio" or directly open files by clicking on the pen/edit-icon.
4. Narrafix Studio will launch directly in your browser - no installation required.

From there, you can start proof editing immediately, collaborate with your team, or export the results in your preferred format (WAV, AAF, or RPP).
